To be appraised properly, the actual physical item must be inspected.  Jan researches industry publications, international, national, regional, and local auction results, antique shows and stores, and dealer sales to determine proper identification and to determine current market values.  

Jan can advise you on purchasing or selling an item.

Jan can also locate appraisal expertise in other fields and form appraisal teams for large projects.
